Prescription Refills
If you need a prescription refilled, call our office at 910-323-2103, then select OPTION 3. Leave a message that includes the name of the pharmacy and the pharmacy location (example, Walgreens in Hope Mills.) We have all of the phone numbers for local pharmacies. You also may call the pharmacy where the original prescription was filled. The pharmacy will send in a request electronically.
Appointments
We see patients by appointment only. Routine and annual visits are generally scheduled within two weeks.
At Fayetteville Woman’s Care, we pride ourselves on staying on schedule. Even though the nature of our practice is extremely unpredictable, we have designed our practice with your needs in mind. Please be assured that if you require a last-minute appointment (due to an immediate medical need) during business hours, we are set up to accommodate you. We are pleased to be one of the few practices in Fayetteville that can boast that our patients spend a relatively short time between signing in and seeing her doctor or nurse.
In return, we ask that you, as a patient, be on time for your appointment, at least ten minutes early. And, please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel your appointment.
Because of the size of our exam and ultrasound rooms we ask that you limit the number of people accompanying you to one.
Appointments are not required for lab work (where a physician visit is not needed) or injections (Depo, flu shot, etc.) You may come to the office between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., Monday through Friday, or between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
Insurance
We accept most insurance, including TriCare, BCBS, Aetna, Medicaid, Medicare, etc. Check with your carrier to ensure that we are an in network provider.
Medical Records Release
Please note that starting on Wednesday, March 26, 2025, Fayetteville Woman’s Care began using an online portal as the primary method for requesting medical records. Using this portal is the most efficient way to request a copy of your records. Requests received in the office will be forwarded to RecordQuest for processing.

Hospital Coverage/Emergency Care
Effective June 1, 2025, Fayetteville Woman’s Care joined Cape Fear Valley’s OB Hospitalist Group to provide inhouse coverage for Labor and Delivery. We continue to provide high quality OB care and we continue to delivery babies when we are on call for the hospital. We are still private practice. We are now part of larger call group of physicians and midwives who are present in Labor and Delivery 24 hours each day providing you excellent care.
After hours, our calls are answered by Registered Nurses. These highly trained nurses will direct you to an Urgent Care, Emergency Room, Labor and Delivery or advise you to call the office the next business day. Please note, these nurses cannot see your medical record. They cannot review your labs with you or call in any medications. For these questions, please use the Patient Portal or call our office during normal business hours.
If you have questions about this, please contact us or talk to your provider
