After more than 9000 deliveries and 12,000 surgeries, Dr. Strickland officially retired in 2025 after 38 years at Fayetteville Woman’s Care. His parting words were, “The Fayetteville community has been great to me and I appreciate all of you have entrusted me with your healthcare for 38 years.
Joining Fayetteville Woman’s Care (FWC) in 1988, Dr Strickland received his medical degree from East Carolina University in 1984 and completed his internship and residency at Charlotte Memorial Hospital in 1988. He is a Board-certified Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Strickland provides gynecology care only.
